A book of short stories was published on 5 December 2000 called
"Sicilian Vespers and other short stories". The story Sicilian Vespers describes a classical Sicilian pay back for an insult to family honour.
The subject matter of the stories ranges from the court room to the race track and from fraud to murder.
"A Night on the Road", "The Batavia" and "Night to Remember" are brooding suspense stories. "Judgement" and "The Brick" have a courtroom theme. "Paris, 1990" and "Domestic Bliss" display a black, even cruel humour.
"Two Artists", "Magna gatti" and "The Joker" are somewhat lighter in tone. "Links" is a detective story and "Vic's Last Bet" is predictably, a tale of the turf.
All fourteen of the stories have a spin; not so strong as O. Henry's twists but a spin non the less.
